The Australians KING GIZZARD are one of the most prolific bands on the planet: very young and active only since 2010, they have released no less than twenty-three albums, of which five this year alone, thus becoming from a cult band to a global promise of psychedelic rock. The next King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard concert in Cologne will take place on 15 August 2023 at E-Werk.
With a sound that blends garage, freak folk, prog, surf, jazz fusion and heavy metal, the lineup, led by multi-instrumentalist Stu Mackienze, consists of Mickey Cavanagh, Cookie Craig, Lukey Harwood, Amby Kenny-Smith and Joey Walker.

After the release of “Made In Timeland” in March and the double LP “Omnium Gatherum” released in April, the band announced the release of three more albums in October: “Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms And Lava ”, released on October 7th, “Laminated Denim”, due out on October 12th and “Changes” on October 28th.
